Hours: 22.5 hours per week with flexibility in working hours
Salary: £23,000 - 25,000 pro rata depending on experience

Do you want to lead Disability Snowsport UK’s Scotland’s teaching and recreational activities?

We’re looking for a snowsport schools manager, 3 days per week with the option of additional sessional work. You must be BASI Alpine Level 1 qualified, able to support a wide range of activity and people, and a great communicator. If you don’t have an adaptive qualification, we can support you to achieve this.

We particularly welcome people who are committed to ensuring that disabled children and adults are included in every aspect of life. It's our mission to make snowsport accessible for everyone: regardless of disability, injury or experience.

We are committed to flexible and inclusive working practices,and the role is home based. Our ideal candidate will be based in the central belt and able to travel to Glasgow and Edinburgh on a regular basis and the Scottish mountains in winter. Occasional overseas travel will also be likely.

Scope of work

Disability Snowsport UK is seeking a Snowsport School Manager to oversee the delivery of adaptive snowsport lessons in the Central Belt and Scotland.  We welcome applications from people who are not yet adaptive qualified but have experience of working in a snowsport school or sports project where you work with other instructors, coaches, volunteers, group activities or similar. Most importantly, we need someone who is great with people, organised and cares about welcoming disabled people to skiing and snowboarding.  Applicants must have their BASI Level 1 Alpine and if you are not adaptive qualified, we will support you to complete your qualifications.
