· Providing holidays and activities in the UK and worldwide                          
· Providing social and recreational skiing groups
· Working with governing bodies, training organisations and partners to widen access, increase awareness and share knowledge

Fundraising Officer (Maternity cover)

Role: Fundraising Officer, 1 year fixed term
Location: Home based or Glenmore Lodge, Aviemore (hybrid) or Snow Centre Manchester (hybrid)  with some travel
Hours:
3 days per week
Salary: £26,012 pro rata (0.6 FTE - £15,607)

Are you an organised, enthusiastic person who's good with people?

This post will be part of a small but dedicated core staff team at DSUK. We work across the UK from the mountains in Scotland to Hemel Hempstead, and the fundraising officer, working within the fundraising team, will lead on building and supporting community and events fundraising activities, mass participation challenge activities, individual giving and Lottery.
At this point in the team’s growth, the fundraising officer (maternity cover) is also responsible for their own administration including gift processing and donor stewardship. We are entering an exciting new phase at DSUK, and it is anticipated that this role provides room for future growth. We need an internal expert to help us deliver our long-term ambitions.
We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates who are disabled or who have other experience of life with a disability or long-term condition.

Key responsibilities
· 
Plan fundraising activity for all areas of responsibility in line with the fundraising income target.
· Ensure DSUK’s individual givers receive a supportive stewardship journey in a positive and timely manner.
· Prepare an annual calendar of fundraising activities/events (in-person and online) and deliver on DSUK led activities such as Glenmore Santa Run.
· Ensure that the DSUK lottery runs efficiently, effectively, increasing number of lottery customers whilst remaining compliant to the relevant regulations.
· Coordinate merchandise sales through DSUK website generating financial surplus whilst offering branded, quality items to our supporters.
· Record and prepare data relating to fundraising activities for reporting to SMT.
· Compile all necessary reports for finance on fundraising activities.
· Work with the Head of Fundraising on projected income and expenditure in line with planned activities against fundraising targets.
· Agree actions with the Head of Fundraising to implement changes to activity planning if income targets are not successful.


Essential Experience
· Excellent written communication skills, paying attention to detail.
· The ability to build strong and lasting relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
· Practical experience of planning and delivering a variety of activities including fundraising, training, and outreach events.
· Experience of financial planning and budgeting.
· High degree of competence in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.

Desirable Knowledge
· 
Experience of online fundraising.
· Confident in Data Protection processes.
· A passion for snowsport.
· An understanding of issues facing disabled people and/or adaptive sports-based activities.

Accounts Officer / Bookkeeper

Role: Accounts Officer / Bookkeeper
Location: Glenmore Lodge, Aviemore (hybrid) or remote with minimum one day per month in Aviemore
Hours:
5 days per week
Salary: £32,000 - 38,000, depending on experince

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer looking for a new challenge?

This role is key to the financial management and reporting of the charity, as well as day to day administration and financial support to the charity. The post holder will be line managed by the CEO with support from our consultant accountant.  This is a great opportunity to grow into the role or step up and lead, depending on your experience and career aspirations.
Scope of Work:
You will be supporting colleagues across a busy and friendly charity, as part of a small office team.

The primary purpose of the job is to work with our accounts systems and colleagues, clients and suppliers to ensure all activities are recorded, payments are secured and processed. You will provide
information needed to monitor budgets and reporting.
Key responsibilities
· 
Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records and financial ledgers
· Reconciling month ends, bank reconciliations
· Preparing reports for regional managers and fundraising monitoring expenditure against forecasts and assisting in preparation of management accounts
· Budgeting and cash management
· Raising invoices, processing payments, and overseemanagement of client accounts
· Submitting monthly payroll to bureau.
· Assisting in the preparation of year-end financialdocumentation for external accountant
· Managing the day-to-day running of the office,utilities & answering the telephone when required
· Liaising with clients, members, partnerorganisations, suppliers and colleagues
· Providing administration support and holiday cover (asagreed with line manager)

Essential Experience
· Proven Bookkeeping/Accounts experience
· Strong IT skills, with good to intermediate experience of excel
· Proven experience with sage 50, or other accounting software
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Able to work on your own initiative

Desirable Knowledge
· 
Knowledge of disabilities would be an advantage.
• Knowledge and passion for snowsports.
• Confident in Data Protection processes.
