In 1974, David Morris, DSUK founder, asked “Why shouldn’t a wheelchair be on top of a mountain?”. We've been working towards ensuring disabled children and adults can take part in snowsport ever since.
Disability Snowsport UK’s vision is of mountains and ski slopes free from barriers, where disabled people can learn and take part alongside family, friends and peers.
Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK) is the leading adaptive snowsport charity which provides expert adaptive lessons throughout the UK, as well as delivering opportunities to ski and snowboard in a mountain environment worldwide. From complete beginners to lifelong participants, snowsport enables disabled skiers and snowboarders to experience freedom, build confidence, health and wellbeing, and social support in everyday life. We work to ensure that everybody can take part in snowsport, regardless of disability, injury or experience.
