Volunteer with Disability Snowsport UK
Our volunteers are at the heart of Disability Snowsport UK. From helping someone experience snowsport for the first time, to supporting a local group, fundraising in your community or helping behind the scenes, there are so many ways to get involved. You do not need to be an expert skier, or even be able to ski, to volunteer with us. We welcome people with all levels of snowsport experience and a wide range of skills, interests and backgrounds.Where could volunteering take you?
Adaptive snowsport holidays
Join our team on holidays in Europe and beyond, helping create an enjoyable and inclusive experience for our skiers and snowboarders. You could support a holiday as a volunteer helper, work alongside our instructors, or get involved with the wider team.
Local groups and snowsport sessions
Support DSUK activities across the UK, from regular local group sessions to special events and opportunities at our snowsports schools. Help welcome participants, support activities and be part of your local DSUK community.
Fundraising and events
Get involved with fundraising events, community activities and challenges that help us raise vital funds to keep our programmes running. Whether you are helping at an event, spreading the word or bringing your own fundraising ideas, your support makes a difference.
Behind the scenes
Volunteering with DSUK is not just about being on the slopes. We also have opportunities to support areas such as fundraising, communications, events, administration and community activities. If you have a particular skill or interest, we would love to hear from you.
Be part of the DSUK community
Our volunteers come from all walks of life and bring a huge variety of skills and experience. What brings us together is a willingness to help, a sense of community and a desire to make snowsport more accessible for disabled people. You might volunteer once a year, get involved regularly with your local group, join us on a holiday or find a role that becomes a regular part of your life. There is no one way to volunteer with DSUK.If you would like to get involved, sign up below and tell us a little about yourself and how you would like to volunteer. We will then be in touch about opportunities that could be a good fit for you.We would love to have you as part of the team.
If you are passionate about snowsport and would like to develop your skills further, becoming an adaptive snowsports instructor could be a great way to get involved with DSUK.
Our instructors play an important role in helping disabled people discover and enjoy snowsport, adapting their teaching to meet the needs of each skier or snowboarder.
Whether you are already a qualified snowsports instructor or are just starting to explore adaptive snowsport, there are opportunities to develop your knowledge, experience and confidence with DSUK.
We are currently developing our adaptive instructor pathway, with more information coming soon. In the meantime, if you are interested in becoming an adaptive snowsports instructor, we would love to hear from you.
