Santa Run 2010

Disability Snowsport UK’s most successful fundraising event is back for 2010!

Last year, the Santa Run sold out, with 2,500 runners donning their Santa Suit and competing in a 6k run around Battersea Park.

The event takes place on Saturday the 4th December 2010, in Battersea Park. Your entry fee includes your Santa suit, so there’s no excuse for not dressing up!

Please sign up to run, whether alone or as a team with friends, family or work-mates, and encourage everyone you know to get involved. Send an email round at work letting people know about this fun event, or ask Disability Snowsport UK for posters to put up in your staff room or at your gym, tell people via your facebook page or pass this newsletter around to people that you know!

Everyone will be welcome on the day: as well as runners we need volunteers to help out and of course crowds to cheer the runners on. If you’re interested, please sign up to take part, encourage everyone to join you, and start raising sponsorship money!

This year, we need your support more than ever. We would like to ask our runners to really pull out all the stops, and raise at least £25 in sponsorship. As a small incentive, we are offering a special prize to the individual  who raises the most money – so get your sponsor form out!  Please see below for terms and conditions

You can set up you own online fundraising page for free at www.justgiving.com/disabilitysnowsportuk.  This allows people to sponsor you quickly and easily online – funds come direct to Disability Snowsport, so you don’t need to worry about collecting money from friends and family after the event! It is very quick and simple to set up a page, and you can then email the link to everyone you know.

Terms and conditions for entering into the prize competition :

You must complete the details at the top of the sponsor form and return to us by the 31st January 2011. Any sponsorship received after this date will not be counted.

We will despatch prizes in February 2011, to the address submitted on the sponsorship form

Prizes are not transferable and cannot be taken as cash
