DSUK Vice-Chair carries Olympic torch in Inverness
Robbie Young, vice-chair of Disability Snowsport UK, was one of the 8,000 torch bearers in the UK. He was chosen to run in Inverness on 11 June.
He was nominated for his 30 years of service to snowsports for disabled people.
Robbie took his torch bearing duty very seriously and trained for many weeks.
He was the first torchbearer in Inverness on 11 June, which meant he had to run uphill along the Inverness castle. The story has it this wee athletic challenge made Robbie want to continue a bit of running.
