Disability Snowsport UK’s most successful fundraising event is back for 2010!
Please sign up to run, whether alone or as a team with friends, family or work-mates, and encourage everyone you know to get involved. Send an email round at work letting people know about this fun event, or ask Disability Snowsport UK for posters to put up in your staff room or at your gym, tell people via your facebook page or pass this newsletter around to people that you know!
Everyone will be welcome on the day: as well as runners we need volunteers to help out and of course crowds to cheer the runners on. If you’re interested, please sign up to take part, encourage everyone to join you, and start raising sponsorship money!
This year, we need your support more than ever. We would like to ask our runners to really pull out all the stops, and raise at least £25 in sponsorship. If every person who takes part in the event raises this, our charity will receive £62,000 in funding, allowing us to make a significant difference in the lives of people with disabilities. £25 is such a small amount for each individual to raise, and yet could make such a tremendous difference to our chairty and those who use our services.
You can set up you own online fundraising page for free at www.justgiving.com/disabilitysnowsportuk. This allows people to sponsor you quickly and easily online – funds come direct to Disability Snowsport, so you don’t need to worry about collecting money from friends and family after the event! It is very quick and simple to set up a page, and you can then email the link to everyone you know.
