MV Festival Friday 24th - Sunday 26th February 2012

Hosted by SPB Events, MV Festival (Mountain & Valley Festival) is the UK’s newest annual festival.It is also unique and the first of its kind in Scotland. The Festival takes place in the Scottish Highlands every February, combining snow sports, live music events and comedy acts over one full on fun packed weekend. There are just two very important points; raising money for the two annually selected charities and of course having fun.

So get set for some of the biggest music and comedy acts in the Highlands this coming winter and throw into the mix some great terrain to ski and snowboard on and it's sure to be a weekend in Aviemore you won’t want to miss.

MV Festival is open to all, expert to complete beginner on skis or snowboard. If you don’t want to play on the mountain and just want to come for the music or comedy side, a trip to Aviemore and the surrounding area will not leave you disappointed. This weekend is about having a good time, raising money for charity and, for some, trying something new.

Through the MV Festival we aim to introduce the exciting world of snow sports to everyone, whether young, old or somewhere in the middle, there's a snow sport for you. The annual event will allow us to watch beginners progress their skills and to see experts tweak the sweetest of moves.

The MV Festival is a charity event which presents the opportunity for more good work to be done. Two worthy charities will be selected annually, with proceeds from the Festival going towards enabling them to continue their amazing work and promote awareness. DSUK being one of them!!
