The North of England - Manchester & Leeds.

North London - Hemel Hempstead.

The Central Belt of Scotland - Glasgow & Edinburgh.

And the Highlands of Scotland - Cairngorm Mountain

 

How much does a lesson cost?

A 1 hour private lesson for any stand up or sit down skier costs £40 plus a £2.50 temporary membership/insurance fee*

It is also possible to have a 1 hour private lesson for 2 people this costs £60 plus a £5.00 temporary membership/lesson fee*

*temporary membership/insurance fee - This £2.50 fee applies to each new skier with Disability Snowsport UK. The fee will apply to your first 3 lessons - to see if you like it - If you then decide that you would like to have more lessons with us you would then need to become a full member of DSUK.

 

DSUK Lesson Deal

Block book 10 lessons and only pay for 9! £360

Block book 5 lessons and get your 5th one 1/2 price! £180

 

Group Lessons

If you are part of a disabiltiy group or association it may be possible for you to book a group lesson.

3 Skiers - £70 plus £7.50 temporary memberships/insurance fees*

4 Skiers - £80 plus £10 temporary memberships/insurance fees

5 Skiers - £90 plus £12.50 temporary memberships/insurance fees

6 Skiers - £100 plus £15 temporary memberships/insurance fees

7 Skiers - £110 plus £12.50 temporary memberships/insurance fees

Please be aware that group lessons can only accomodate stand up skiers

Becoming a member of DSUK

 As a member you will receive a membership card and welcome pack, regular updates on our sites across the UK, annual activity brochure for our organised ski weeks overseas, annual yearbook, access to the members area on the website, great member benefits including discounts from Ellis Brigham, Westbeach and Dare2B - to name a few! Also details on how you can get involved through your local group and learn how your membership can make a difference to so many people.

As of September 1st we have introduced a ''rolling'' membership. So you will be a member for 365 days no matter when you join!

Meet some of the team!

 

Rachel Easton is the Development Officer for Adaptive Ski Schools in the UK.

Rachel has a wealth of knowledge as a BASI Adaptive Trainer and has worked alongside the Paralympic Development Squad as well as the Wounded Warriors. Her current role is funded by Children In Need to enable access for all around the country at indoor snow centres and dry slopes
 
 

 

  

CHILL FACTORe MANCHESTER AND XSCAPE CASTLEFORD

Dave has been working overseas for many years and have a wealth of experience in the adaptive world. Now a BASI Adaptive trainer Dave is based at Chillfactore and organises the delivery of lessons to disabled groups and individuals at both Chillfactore and Xscape in Castleford.
 
These slopes provide an ideal learning environment and are a perfect place to try out skiing for the first time or brush up on your skills for your trip abroad.
  

SKI SCHOOL SCOTLAND - CENTRAL BELT

Lead Instructor - Keira Young

Keira Young has been involved with Disability Snowsport UK for many years and has qualified as an Adaptive Instructor and is now delivering adaptive lessons throughout the Central Belt to individuals and school groups.
This development throughout Scotland would not be possible without the help of the Big Lottery Fund who have funded the project for 2years.
Keira works from Monday to Thursday

 

 

 

SKI SCHOOL SNOWCENTRE - HEMEL HEMPSTEAD

Nick Hatherley has been delivering adaptive lessons at The SnowCentre in Hemel Hempstead  since it opened in May 2009. The successful programme now runs over 7 days with Nick and his pool of instructors to help him
